I. Document Introduction
This report is the 2017 bilingual Chinese-English annual report of the ICOMOS International Conservation Center-Xi'an (IICC-X). Based at Xi'an's Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the Center serves as the Secretariat of the China-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Tripartite Silk Road Nomination Working Group. In 2017, under the guidance of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, ICOMOS, ICOMOS China, and with the support of SACH and the Shaanxi Provincial and Xi'an Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureaus, IICC-X further fulfilled its role as the Secretariat of the Silk Road Transnational Serial Nomination Coordination Committee and Information Center, successfully completing all tasks related to Silk Road cultural heritage protection.
