IICC Annual Work Report 2014

 IICC Annual Report Overview
I. Document Introduction
This report is the 2014 bilingual Chinese-English annual report of the ICOMOS International Conservation Center-Xi'an (IICC-X). Based at Xi'an's Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the Center serves as the Secretariat of the China-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Tripartite Silk Road Nomination Working Group. The landmark achievement of 2014 was the successful inscription of 'Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor' on the World Heritage List at the 38th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Qatar. SACH highly commended IICC-X's core role in multilingual international coordination, conference preparation, and professional consultation. The year's work focused on post-inscription long-term heritage protection, covering digital platform development, international and domestic conferences, talent exchange and training, cultural heritage planning and consultation, and research projects.
