IICC Annual Report Overview
I. Document Introduction
This report is the 2012 annual report of the ICOMOS International Conservation Center-Xi'an (IICC-X) in trilingual Chinese-English-Russian format. Based at Xi'an's Small Wild Goose Pagoda, the Center serves as the Secretariat of the Silk Road Transnational Serial Nomination Coordination Committee and the Information Center of the China-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan Tripartite Silk Road Nomination Working Group. In 2012, under the guidance of ICOMOS and China's State Administration of Cultural Heritage (SACH), the Center provided comprehensive support for the transnational nomination of 'Silk Roads: the Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor', working across five key areas: information platform development, international conference organization, personnel training, cultural heritage technical services, and documentary compilation. It fully records the year's nomination progress and international exchange practices, and outlines the work plan for 2013.
